- Installation Process
At True Green Irrigation, we are proud of the method we use to install your irrigation system. We cut, then carefully take out the grass and set it aside. Just enough dirt is removed to lay the pipe in the ditch.
The sprinkler heads are set up by connecting PVC pipe to the sprinkler head through a Swing pipe. The Swing pipe is custom made to position the sprinkler head in an exact location. It prevents the PVC pipe from breaking if there is a heavy object on top of the sprinkler head and makes relocating or raising the sprinkler head easier once the grass grows higher than the sprinkler head.
After all of the sprinkler heads are connected each section is tested for leaks before the pipes are covered.
The dirt is replaced on top of the pipes and the grass repositioned. The area is watered with a hose to help the ground settle.
Nozzles are installed and the sprinkler heads are calibrated.
The timer is programmed and demonstrated.
